The Marigold Villa

The Marigold is a spacious open plan luxury home where the indoor spaces merge with the outdoors. Located a short tuk-tuk ride from Turtle and Unawatuna Beach, historic Galle Fort and nestled in the sleepy village surroundings within an easy walk to the beach. The Marigold provides ample space for both solitude and group gatherings. Our resident Chef is waiting to tempt you with his culinary skills while our Manager and staff are at hand to assist you to experience the best of Southern Sri Lanka.

This is a family home, as opposed to a holiday villa, and comes with all the ‘little’ comforts of home plus more. Guests will be welcomed by our Manager and staff who are waiting to support you throughout your stay. Our Chef is eager to tempt you with a variety of local and international creations. Meals are not included in the price, but fresh food at the local markets is more than affordable for even the budget conscious and there is something very exciting about planning the days menu with the Manager and Chef. Our Chef, has prior experience with both international and local establishments and is eager to tempt you to try local Sri Lankan meals or more than happy to cater to most western tastes. All dietary needs can be accommodated.
The Marigold is set within a very private oasis boasting its own swimming pool and large outdoor living space for lazing away the hours as a break from the activity of local beaches. It is an easy walk to the local beach and child friendly swimming area plus only a short tuk tuk ride from many great restaurants, beach bars, cafes and nightlife providing plenty of options for private relaxation or participation in the local ‘party’ scene.
All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms with both A/C and ceiling fans. Quality bed linen and towels for both the bathroom and pool are provided. Guests are requested not to take pool towels to the beach.
The common living spaces (indoors and outdoors) capture cross breezes and are cooled with a plentiful arrangement of ceiling fans.
The fully equipped kitchen can cater to every need, however the staff will be sure to provide you with the support you need. Personal laundry is also available on site by the house staff.
The Marigold provides Cable TV and free Wifi throughout your stay.
Guests are encouraged to utilize the In Room safe for all valuables which provides security and peace of mind for the documents you don’t want to ‘lose’ at the beach!
